Tomatillo Para Ti – Oh
Odell Brewing out of Fort Collins, Colorado and their 5-barrel pilot system have done it again, this time they've created something with a brand new twist: Green Coyote Tomatillo Sour – a German-style Berliner​​ brewed with 3,000 lbs of tomatillos.
Described as having subtle notes of kiwi, cucumber and lemon that "howl alongside tartness on the tongue." This 5.1%ABV sour has been a few years in the making and is definitely something we at Just A Sip haven't seen before, but I bet it would go pretty well with some street tacos.
Odell Brewing has been churning out great beers since 1989 and is actually the 27th largest brewery in the country. That being said, their 5-barrel system, while brilliant, has only produced enough of this intriguing beer to be available in "very limited quantities" across their distribution.
