A Summer IPA from Smuttynose

Because you can never have enough IPAs, Smuttynose in New Hampshire is introducing their latest summer series release: Summer IPA. This Dad-tastic IPA was created to be the perfect Summer-drinking IPA and at 5.5% ABV and a mere 25 IBUs it seems like they just may have nailed it.

The official description from Smuttynose is it's "all about the hops. A satisfying, refreshing IPA with a clean hoppy finish perfect for the summer months. The aroma is both complex and hoppy while perfectly balanced. Look for hints of citrus, and tropical fruits from the Zeus, Citra, Saphir, and Amarillo hops. The only thing more balanced than the aroma is the flavor, offering subtle malt sweetness on either side of the hops profile, and closes with a crisp, hoppy finish."

Based on that description and the sweet sweet box photo, we'll definitely be adding this one to our cooler this summer. Look for Summer IPA from Smuttynose starting mid-May (so it should be out now) and let us know what you think.
