Last year they celebrating 50 years of Star Trek with 2 Golden Anniversary Ales, this year they're accelerating to Warp 9.9 with 3 new creations: Kligon Imperial Porter release earlier this year, another yet-to-be-announced beer and this month's brew Symbiosis® – a hoppy wheat ale that is fresher than Spot's* litter box.
This 5.5% ABV limited edition beauty with prominent wheat maltiness and distinct fruit and spice flavors and of Centennial and Amarillo hops celebrates 30 years of Star Trek: Next Generation, drawing it's name from one of the most well-known episodes featuring the never-aging Patrick Stewart as Captain Jean Luc Picard and his entire crew aboard the USS Enterprise.
As for Schmaltz Brewing, the brewers of He'brew Beer, we're officially fans. Just check out their own description of Symbiosis®: In this 30th Anniversary Ale, the Shmaltz crew has upheld its Prime Directive to boldly unite hops, malts, yeast, and water in the pursuit of craft beer excellence.
