Ghost Hammer IPA from Stone Brewing

Stone Brewing Co, the company that brought us Arrogant Bastard and Enjoy By IPA, has brought us another gift: Ghost Hammer IPA – an other-worldly IPA named for the things that go bump (and creak) in the night while the overnight crew works. And at 6.7% with a whopping 57 IBUs, it's definitely a night cap kind of beer.

According to Jeremy Moynier, Senior Innovation Brewing Manager, “Stone Ghost Hammer IPA is our latest beer to highlight innovation in the hop world with a newer hop called Loral, which is named by combining the words ‘lemon’ and ‘floral’ as a nod to the strong lemony notes and its intense floral aroma. Additionally, Loral has some classic European noble hop qualities, making it overall a very unique and exciting hop.”

Stone Brewing is also pretty cool in their approach to freshness. If you've ever wondered, "can I age this beer," Stone Brewing answers that question for you with every can thanks to their labeling. You can read all about it on their "Commitment to Freshness" page which also includes a fancy promo video and honestly, can you ever watch enough videos featuring beer? I think not.

Enjoy friends, and let us know what you think of their latest creation.
