A New Batch in Colorado
Colorado is clearly not short on the love lately, could be recent legislation or it could just be this state really loves it's beer. Either way, we're a fan of what's coming to the Centennial State from Roaring Fork.
Based in Carbondale, CO Roaring Fork is set to open a brand new tasting room called "Batch" in downtown. Not only will they serve up 12 taps from Roaring Fork (more than their current tap room which only has 6 taps) and will hold seasonal and exclusive beers. And when they say seasonal and exclusive, they are not kidding, some of the beer they are planning to open with are a "Grilled Meyer Lemon and Rosehip Saison, a Rum Barrel aged Imperial Stout, and a Tequila Barrel Aged Imperial IPA that has been dosed with Mosaic hop powder, amongst quite a few others." But they're not stopping there, they're spreading the love.
They'll have a total of 24 taps to share the likes of brews from Casey Brewing & Blending and Idlewylde Brewing Company. On top of that they'll be serving up wine from Infinite Monkey Theorem, Colorado made hard cider, kombuchas and mate from Elevated Elixirs, craft sodas from Carbondale Cola, and sake. In other words, a modern day alcoholic paradise.
