Ginger Sour from Avery Brewing Out Today
Avery Brewing out of Boulder, CO has been stepping up their game as of late with their botanical series, the latest being the Ginger Sour being release today nationally in 22oz bottles. Described as being "bright, spice and tart", this barrel-aged sour is sure to be interesting to say the least.
And these people know fresh, in fact the ginger juice used to make this beer is in only 24 hours old when they begin the process, straight from the Pressery. They say this 6.0% sour will taste nothing like the other ginger beers you've had before and is definitely worth a try. Here at Just A Sip we're definitely intrigued and will be on the look out for this one for our next sushi night.
Ginger Sour will join the rest of the Avery line up including their Vanilla Bean Stout, Raspberry Sour, Tangerine Quad, Apricot Sour, and Coconut Porter, all aged in oak barrels for at least three months and only use real ingredients.
