Almanac to See Beer In Your Future
Californians rejoice, you now have a brewery actually willing to ship their beer direct to your door. While the rest of the country may mourn that the Cali-based Almanac Beer Co will only be shipping to California residents, this does give a glimmer of hope that we'll be seeing other breweries starting the same.
We all have that one brewery that's close enough you can make it a road trip, but it's far enough to be impractical for daily/weekly visits. Unfortunately those are often times the beers we love most, so the idea of being able to have your favorite beer *legally* shipped to your front door is a truly exciting concept. For instance we love Funky Budda, but it's a solid 3.5 hour drive, and they have way too many release parties to go down there all the time. Thankfully we have friends that love beer, Disney and us that we bribe them to pick it up on their way to the most magical place on Earth and in exchange we give free room & board.
While we haven't heard of Almanac Beer down here in the Florida, their beers do sound intriguing and I'll definitely be looking at our California friends to share the love.
